🐢 Silly Sully’s First Easter – Sweater and All!

Hi friends! It’s me, Silly Sully! 🐢

Let me tell ya about my very first Easter back in 2021. I was just a little guy, still figuring out this big ol’ world (and by “big,” I mean my yard… it’s HUGE when you’re my size). I thought Easter was all about munching on yummy greens and basking in the sun… but nope! Mom had other plans.

She pulled out this funny little sweater—soft, cozy, and covered in bunnies and pastel colors. Before I knew it, I was dressed up like an Easter parade float! At first I wasn’t so sure about it (tortoises don’t exactly wear clothes in the wild, ya know?), but mom kept saying how “adorable” I looked and snapping pictures. I have to admit… I kinda rocked that sweater. I mean, who else can pull off a festive look and be the fastest slowpoke in the yard?

After my photoshoot, I got to nibble on some fresh dandelions and clover—my favorite treats! Mom even gave me a teeny tiny strawberry to celebrate. 🍓 Best. Day. Ever.

I may not totally understand why humans love dressing up for holidays, but if it means extra snacks and snuggles, I’m all in. Can’t wait to see what sweater she picks next!
